Aleksi 'Aleksib' Virolainen is currently inactive on the CS:GO roster of Ence, but a new report from Dexerto claims to have heard from sources that he turned down a package worth $1 million USD over two years from Complexity Gaming, which would see him become their in-game leader.
This allegedly included a salary and luxury apartment, and follows reports that Complexity's founder Jason Lake flew to Helsinki to meet with him. The same report also claims that the move was rejected because Aleksib didn't want to move to North America.
Lake approached Benjamin 'BlameF' Bremer instead, the report continues, also meeting with him in person. BlameF has reportedly now arrived in Dallas and the team will be built around him, including Will 'Rush' Wierzba.
"I love our players as individuals but these results won't be tolerated. If you're a Tier 1 player looking for a fresh start at the best facility in the world, HMU. I'll pay your buyout and give you the world's highest salaries. Let's build a juggernaut," Lake said in a tweet back in August.
