Earlier today we reported that matches due to be played in China in February and March for Blizzard's Overwatch League had been postponed until further notice, however, Blizzard isn't the only company putting its plans on ice.
The League of Legends Pacific Championship Series that was set to take place on February 8 has been postponed indefinitely, and a Hong Kong-based Pokémon Go tournament, due to start this weekend, has also been cancelled. Other events impacted by the outbreak include next month's World Electronic Sports Games (WESG) APAC Grand Final in Macau and the planned final of the CrossFire Professional League (CFPL) and CrossFire Mobile League (CFML) in Kunming at the end of February (thanks, The Esports Observer).
It's clear that all esports organisations operating in the region are having to look at their plans as the coronavirus continues to spread. For more on the outbreak, head this way.
