KFC Battle bringing CS:GO and Dota esports to Europe

Prizes include trips to the biggest competitions for these games, and you can now register for open qualifiers to be in with the chance of winning.

KFC has revealed that the KFC Battle youth project will bring amateur tournaments to Central and Eastern Europe, featuring a Dota 2 championship teams from Russia, Kazakhstan, Belorussia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, and Georgia, as well as a tournament in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive for teams from Central and Eastern European countries.

The six winning teams for the KFC Battle will be determined at the grand finale in Moscow from July 13 to 14, where two CS:GO teams and four Dota 2 teams will compete for the chance to win a covered trip to a major esports championship. The Dota 2 victors will be heading to The International, while the CS:GO winners head to the StarLadder Berlin Major.

KFC Battle has already hosted competitions in other disciplines like street basketball, and these tournaments are part of KFC's increased push into esports, having moved KFC Battle into competitive gaming last year.
