Riot has been steadily increasing the number of League of Legends: Wild Rift esports tournaments and events over the past months, and it seems like the Horizon Cup was what they were all leading to.

Set to be the first international event in the scene, Riot recently posted a short video issuing a bunch of details on the tournament, including that it will feature a hefty $500,000 prize pool.

As for the format of the event, it will see the ten best teams from around the world heading to Singapore to compete. The event will start on November 13 with a group stage, and will conclude on November 21 with the grand finals. There has been no mention as to how the prize pool will be split among the ten teams yet, however.
