This past weekend marked the beginning of the Amazon EU Masters Summer 2021 tournament for League of Legends, an event that sees some of the best tier-two teams across Europe competing for a hefty cash prize. The tournament is hosted by Amazon and it was revealed by Riot just before competition started that Pringles and WD_Black would be joining as event partners.
Pringles has been sponsoring League of Legends events by Riot for a while now, while WD_Black is regarded as a brand new event sponsor.
Speaking about the partnership, Zeynep Gencaga, Riot's senior manager of business development and partnerships for the Europe and MENA region said, "We are thrilled to announce these sponsors, and are proud to be strengthening our relationships with these two brands. It's great to welcome Pringles back as an Event Partner once again, and we hope this engagement will also build a lasting connection with WD_BLACK brand who come to us fresh this season."
