Report: Chinese Overwatch League teams will not play with Seoul Dynasty's Saebyeolbe after he showed support for Hong Kong independence

Despite issuing an apology, the Chinese teams will still not play with Saebyeolbe.

Thanks, GinX.

A recent report has come out stating that Chinese Overwatch League teams will not play with the Seoul Dynasty's Jong-ryeol "Saebyeolbe" Park, following the DPS star sharing his support for the independence of Hong Kong. According to the report, Chinese teams, including the likes of Hangzhou Spark, Shanghai Dragons, Guangzhou Charge, and the Chengdu Hunters will not play with Saebyeolbe in games or scrims as part of the protest.

The actual comments by Saebyeolble were mentioned on his personal stream, where he expressed his opinions on a "unified China '' and used a derogatory term for Chinese people. Apparently, according to the report, before Saebyolble issued a public apology for his comments, the Dynasty's managers told him, "if you want to earn Chinese money, you have to become a Chinese dog."

Despite the fact that the Chinese organisations are seemingly boycotting Saebyeolbe, no word has been officially revealed by the teams yet. Likewise, Blizzard has yet to issue a statement on the matter, and we are still awaiting news from the Seoul Dynasty about how they plan to further incorporate the DPS star into the team, especially since most of Seoul's scrim and play partners are Chinese teams.
