Toronto Ultra has signed Scrappy as a substitute

The team is bringing in reinforcements after a disappointing Major 2.

There's no denying it, Major 2 and the weeks preceding it have been disappointing for the Toronto Ultra, especially since the team were the Kickoff Classic victors and just missed out on a podium finish at Major 1. Despite the fact that the Ultra barely made an impact at all over the entirety of Stage 2, the team is looking to bring in reinforcements, in the form of a new substitute player.

As revealed over Twitter, Thomas "Scrappy" Ernst has joined the team, as a substitute alongside Charlie "Hickey" Hicks. This move marks the first player signing that the Ultra has made in 2022.

Speaking about the signing, Scrappy has said, "Can't wait to work along these group of guys and can't wait to see what the future holds."

As for what is next for the Toronto Ultra, the third Major of the Call of Duty League season will be hosted by the team, with qualifiers for that starting on May 13.
