Esports merchandise company We Are Nations has revealed a recent fundraising round featuring Dan Cardell and Esports Ventures LLC, aimed to help with We Are Nations' plans to expand in Europe and the US, supporting the esports team and league business as well.

This includes support in both marketing and operations, affecting their existing channels as well as expanding the availability of merchandise to non-endemic retail channels.

"We Are Nations is a well-respected name in the esports merchandising space and is known throughout the United States and internationally, and we believe that now is the opportune time to team up with them to help accelerate their impressive growth trajectory," said Managing Partner Dan Cardell.

We Are Nations CEO Patrick Mahoney added: "I met Dan last fall through Trenton Pierson, our SVP of Strategy, and immediately knew we wanted to work with him. His practical mainstream business experience mixed with his willingness to get involved in an emerging market was really important to us."

We Are Nations has been expanding for a while now, as just last month they signed a partnership with Method, OpTic Gaming, and the Blast Pro Series, so this is just another step for them as they grow in the space.
